Great works of ceramic art turned out before the war, so-called "Old Noritake", are exhibited. Observation of manufacturing process of high-quality table-wears is also available.
"Noritake Craft Center" had renewal open as "Noritake Forest" on Oct.5, 2001. A craft center where you can freely observe the manufacturing process of china, an outlet shop that sells table-wears, a restaurant that serves using Noritake china, a cafeteria, and a museum are also on the premises. The museum introduces the histories of maritime commerce and ships date.
It is a museum on the sea and ships located on the 3rd floor of Nagoya Port Building. In the 1st exhibition room, special features titled "Figure of Nagoya Port" that introduces present state of Nagoya port and the operations at port such as loading, customs, quarantine, and distribution or, "Sea and Ships" that provides the infomations on the sea and ships, and "Formation of a Port" that introduces the history of Nagoya port along with peripheral nature, are exhibited. It was started by Masachika Naruse, lord of Inuyama Castle in about 1590. A master, dressed in the old-fashioned straw clothes, controls a dozen of trained cormorants to catch "ayu", a kind of trout.

One can go down the rapids of Kiso river with gigantic rocks of fantastic shape on both sides of river. The rapids were selected as the most beautiful river sight in Japan.
