Casablanca is Nagoya's one and only Moroccan restaurant.

The authentic, relaxing decor and soothing Moroccan music set the scene and the food prepared by the Moroccan chef does not disappoint. This is the real stuff. The extensive menu contains a mouth-watering selection of Moroccan appetizers, salads, soups or Falafel. Main course dishes include a variety of delicious couscous, meat and fish kababs, Tajine ・Moroccan stew prepared in a special earthenware pot with a conical lid - and briwat - Moroccan spring rolls ・all washed down with Moroccan or Japanese beers or try the Moroccan, Algerian and Tunisian wines. Round off your meal with mint tea or an excellent Moroccan coffee to accompany your freshly-made dessert.

All the dishes at Casablanca are prepared with ingredients specially imported from North Africa.

名古屋でただ一軒のモロッコ料理のお店カサブランカ。モロッコ人シェフとモロッコ人スタッフが心を込めて、あなたにお届けするモロッコ伝統料理の数々。すべての料理に、モロッコの文化とエキゾティックな香を、心を込めてお届けします。また、店内の内装品の品々は、モロッコ人オーナー自らが現地で買い付け、コンテナに満載し直送されたものです。一歩店内に入れば、あなたの心をモロッコ旅行にお誘いできることをお約束します。そして、週末の土曜日にはベリーダンスを初め、いろいろなダンスが楽しめるショーを予定してお待ちしています。

モロッコのスパイス

モロッコのミックススパイスは日本では入手困難なため、必ずモロッコから取り寄せています。ラスハヌーツと呼ばれるこのミックススパイスは20数種類のスパイスをブレンドした、とてもデリケートなものです。タジンと呼ばれるモロッコ独特の煮込み料理の多くはこのスパイスを使用しています。そして、イスラム教徒のお客様にも安心して食べていただけるようにハラールの肉を使用しています。

また、モロッコの熱気を感じさせるミントティーや、デザートもご用意しています。

モロッコ料理の特徴


モロッコ料理の特徴のひとつは、スパイシーなだけではなく、蜂蜜を使った甘いものや、レモンを使った酸っぱいもの、オリーブを使ったものなど、さまざまなバリエーションがあります。また、北アフリカ原産の野菜を多用し、これらの野菜の多くはシルクロードを経て日本にもたらされました。お肉の串焼きのカバブや、有名なクスクスや、モロッコ独特の煮込み料理タジンなど、現地そのものの味をお楽しみください。
